Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lalibela

Arrival: Arrive in Lalibela, and transfer to your hotel.
Activities: Visit the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the famous St. George’s Church and other remarkable rock-cut churches.
Overnight: Lalibela

Day 2: Lalibela – Mekele

Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Mekele.
Afternoon: Check-in at the hotel and explore Mekele Town.

Day 3: Mekele – Hamed Ela

Morning: Depart Mekele for Hamed Ela, passing through stunning landscapes and villages.

Day 4: Hamed Ela – Dallol – Abala

Day 5: Abala – Erta Ale

Morning: Drive to Erta Ale, one of the few continuously active lava lakes in the world.
Evening: Begin the trek to the summit of Erta Ale.
Night: Witness the spectacular lava lake and camp at the volcano’s edge.
Overnight: Camp at Erta Ale

Day 6: Erta Ale – Mekele

Early Morning: Descend from Erta Ale and drive back to Mekele.
Afternoon: Arrive in Mekele and transfer to the airport for departure.
